How has your training been leading up to the CrossFit Opens 2012?
I kept the training volume relatively low during the winter because I didn’t want to burn myself out and I focused more on max strenght/strenght endurance/skill stuff. I kept it that way during the Open and once Open was done I turned up the volume and started to do a lot of very basic crossfit metcons in order to be ready for competitions and I slightly decreased the strenght emphasis.
How will your training be leading up to the CrossFit Regionals 2012?
Now I’m focusing on Regional WODs we were given. Trying different strategies and doing everything I possible can in order to perform well at Regionals.
What is your favorite WOD for Regionals? WOD 2
What is your least favorite WOD for Regionals? WOD6
What will you be focusing on leading up to the Regionals?
Staying healthy and being ready for those WODs.
Who are your biggest competitors at Reginoals?
I’d say top 10-15 from the Open plus some strong individuals who didn’t place top in the Open but are surely happy about the Regional WODs. The level of competition has been raised from last year and there are a lot of guys who has a shot making it to the Games.
Which WOD are you most excited to see performed?
4th WOD takes a lot of heart so that’s gonna be exciting for sure.
Who are your most excited to see in action (men/women/teams)?
Newcomers who didn’t compete last year but did really good scores in the Open this year.
