A blog by strong women who compete in Olympic Style weightlifting. We want to encourage, support, and inspire everyone out there to be the best they can be. Follow us on our journey as we help you along yours.

The blog PRETTY STRONG is run by Jessica (2016 Olympic Hopeful) and Sarah (2012 Olympian) – both really accomplished in Olympic Weightlifting. We always find it inspirational to read about the lives of such talented athletes, and thought that you might feel the same way. For that reason, we wanted to recommend their blog!

On the site, you can find short articles, training diaries, video blogs and competition summaries etc.

We especially enjoyed reading the post “Does size = health”

There are assumptions on their eating habits, their exercise habits, and personality traits. How much truth does your size actually hold? I say none. You must look underneath the exterior to find out the truth about their health. Look into their anatomy.
